Carly Pearce and Michael Bublé Sound Angelic on Heartfelt Holiday Duet, “Maybe This Christmas”

Country music star Carly Pearce has teamed up with renowned crooner and The Voice coach Michael Bublé to release a brand-new Christmas song. Titled “Maybe This Christmas,” the heartfelt track made its debut on November 18.

Unlike many holiday songs that focus on joy and celebration, “Maybe This Christmas” takes a more reflective approach, acknowledging that the holiday season can also bring feelings of loneliness and sadness.

“I wrote this song for those who find the holidays to be a difficult or lonely time,” Bublé shared in a touching caption on a video of his wife, Luisana, hearing the song for the first time. “Music has a way of healing, and this one means so much to me.”

Pearce expressed her excitement about collaborating with Bublé, saying she was “SO excited” to be part of the project.

Fans were quick to embrace the song, showering it with praise after its release. Some of the heartfelt comments on YouTube included:

“Sometimes you hear a song, and it feels like the artist has looked into your soul and written down exactly what they found there.”
“Dear Michael and Carly, thank you for this beautiful song.”

“This is such a meaningful and gorgeous song. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.”

“Two incredible voices on their own, but together, it’s like a sound straight from Heaven.”

Pearce Joins Bublé as a Playoff Advisor on The Voice

Shortly after the song’s release, Pearce appeared on Season 26 of The Voice as Bublé’s playoff advisor. Alongside other advisors like Lainey Wilson, Simone Biles, and Machine Gun Kelly, Pearce helped guide contestants as they prepared for their playoff performances.

A Magical Live Performance on The Voice Finale

A few weeks later, Pearce and Bublé performed “Maybe This Christmas” live during the Season 26 finale of The Voice. Their duet aired on the first night of the finale, December 9, and captivated viewers with its emotional depth.

The performance featured a stunning winter-themed backdrop, perfectly complementing the song’s poignant lyrics. The singers began the performance seated on opposite sides of the stage, symbolizing the loneliness expressed in the song. As the performance progressed, they rose from their stools and came together, embracing as they sang the final lines.

You can watch their breathtaking performance in the video below. Their voices blend beautifully, making them a perfect duo for this touching holiday song.

Don’t forget to tune in to the second night of The Voice finale on December 10. The episode will feature performances from Kelly Clarkson, Dan + Shay, Riley Green, Ella Langley, and more. Plus, the winner of Season 26 will be crowned at the end of the show!
